It is extremely difficult to time your Bible lesson so that it ends at exactly the same time that parents come to pick up their kids. Also, parents usually do not come all at exactly the same time - they trickle in, leaving plenty of time for the kids that are the last to be picked up to get themselves into trouble.
Having activities for kids to do as they wait for their parents can help keep your class organized and under control until the last kid leaves.
The simplest thing to do is to simply pull out the same activities that you were using as students were arriving.
This is also a good time to introduce a new game or review activity that might require an explanation. After you are done with the Bible lesson, you could introduce one of the review activities or Scripture memory games that are included in some of the lessons and then let students play as they wait.
The suggested activities below are the same ones suggested for Arrival Activities.
